Officially one of my favourite places to study; Herald Square at dusk. I mean, I’m under the Empire State for God’s sake!!!!!!! *Teary eyed, quiver lipped* …. I swear man, I bore easily (sometimes a bit TOO easily) but there’s just something about these architectural Goliaths of NY that - no matter what I’m going through at that moment - perpetually awaken my inner pre-pubescent awe and wonder of the world and fill me with a warm blanket, aptly named “life is good…”
Bottom line, there in NO place on earth like New York and I am beyond blessed to call this - the capital of the Universe - my home.
Captured this young Samburu gazing at a helicopter flying over-head! I loved how even if he was quite high up, my eyes were drawn to him immediately!!!
This is my buddy Chris’ car that took us to this year’s trip to the annual Rhino Charge!! *Hi Car!!* hehe! I LOVE the Hilux!!! I always wanted a twin-cab 4x4, given my off-road tendencies, but this trip sealed it! I WILL own one before I die!
Anyways, I snuck in this picture while we took a “stretch-your-legs” break, and I’m glad I did ‘coz I love it!
I have never had more fun being a co-driver; Chris is not only one funny dude, but knows the roads we traversed like the back of his hands and this made the trip not just a journey, but an experience.
**Note** Where possible, always ride with someone that knows a myriad facts of the roads to be traversed on any trip ahead!
Location: Somewhere between Nanyuki and Isiolo, Kenya.
